I think you can join every race apart from the events which take place at the Rockingham track. To join you just have to join the server on time. You can find the password for the server below this chatbox.
Good luck!

Hot Tires at Kyoto Ring National
youliftyoulose, Monday, October 07 2013 - 09:09:50 // comment: 5
Race #2 of the 5th season in the Formula Racing series took place at Kyoto Ring National. The FO8 was the car designated for this race. This race would be a test of tires as practice during the week had some drivers unable to complete the required 40 laps without blowing a tire. Tire management would be a key to doing well at this combo.
Antti leads Bandes, Mux and LRK-racer through the tight T1 and T2.
Bingo sandwiched between Knistling and Mondbrot.
Team mates Xnyle and Jamo with nowhere to go with Torberkel sideways in front of them.
Daniel and Cruel Garfield about to get too close after a long battle for much of the race.
Bandes celebrates the victory after a long dry spell from the winners circle.

Comments: 62 Registered: Nov 03: 13:30 Reply to this | Congrats to all who finished this 1. I think I had the goods to keep up with Daniel too, but being over cautious on Turn 1 also has its penatlies. From 7th to 17th made for a Long Race. So a Top Ten finish was very rewarding. |

Comments: 40 Registered: Jul 08: 18:19 Reply to this | Actually the report failed to mention that BRUTAL and RUTHLESS fight me and Antti were doing for the win. I just cannot explain how hard it was. From lap 15 i had to go faster and faster to keep him off my slipstream. The last 8-10 laps it became a constant qualifying. We were doing crazy fast laps all the time without any mistakes ON THE LIMIT. It was very very exhausting. I never had to race so hard. This was the toughest race i have ever had in LFS. While we were pushing each other we just gave a 30 seconds gap to the pole man, LRK-Racer who was at the first 10-20 long behind me with a gap of about 3 seconds. I was able to pull out 0.5 second gap over 5 laps at the end. So 0.1 sec per lap. Now imagine this how hard we were pushing ! Just watch the replay. We were on the absolute limit of our capabilities. Antti could have had a deserved win as well, but in the end i was a little faster and more consistent on the edge. So next time, there could be a bit more mentioning on the top drivers when there is such a battle, and just "bllaaaah, yeah that guy won in the end, bla bla" You totally missed the race then, which was happening in front. |
