Green light for last race of saison 14 at Kyoto National!

To avoid getting hit from inside, took a wiiiide line through turn 1 (oval part exit) but still found myself with some trouble in front:

storm clouds ahead!

Got through without damage, others were not so lucky.
First lap nearing its end with last turn before oval part. Important corner, if you can take it nicely means good top speed for the long straight.
This time packed cars in front means acceleration is not as fast as can be.

Exit of oval is similiar, with a bit of luck...

...one can quickly close distance here.

Wheldon seemed to have bit problems or damage so eventually passed him, Bingo Wings doing the same.

Lap 6 got a bit too wide and nearly on grass, Bingo uses the situation to make a pass.

On oval exit got him back but he just drafted in front again.
Chased him for next few lap, in some parts I was faster but not enough for pass.

Lap 11 nyle showed up after his crash on s/f straight

Three cars side by side through oval, better not blink now.

Why all the empty seats? The action is surely worth watching.

The signs have answer: It is Japan and there is probally new pokémon movie.

Now in front of Bingo and tmack, passing all the cars that did early pitstop.
Personally always pit as late as possible, in case of emergency repair.

Most were faster drivers so would have to let pass again soon but without losing too much gap...oh here they alreay come!

Pitstop went ok, it is all about precise breaking before spit limit

On pitexit Lost one position to tmack but in front of Bingo (both having pitted one lap earlier)

Tmack had good speed but seemed possible to catch him until lap 21 when leading cars were coming up to lap and broke up the chase.

When he gave space for blue flag, got on grass and spun - really bad luck, could have been good fight.
Seemed like pretty secure position now but then a wrong downshift killed the engine.

Afterwards would not go over 6000 upm, car was so slow there was no chance to avoid dropping through the field. Which is excactly what happend.

tmack preparing to make an easy pass. In background Bingo recovering from spin but soon passing as well.

Yesyes, good pass Akulambat but with 50% more horsepower anyone can do
Fortunately there was only few laps to go and race ended before it could get really embarrassing.
For me the end was a bit stupid but overall nice race again.

some confusion in the first lap

I overtook luca

I overtook pmw

some laps later pmw overtook me

Ducktape came very fast

arrg little misstake

With my pisstop stratgy i get luca and we are fighting until the last lap.

Turn one and a contact with Ducktape sent me onto the grass. This probably saved me from getting involved in the following turns car park.

The first half of the race was largely fighting with Gutholz.

I made a mistake and Gutholz took quick advantage, joined in with by Nyle. By the end of the Oval part my FZR power had got me in front.

I lost it again by getting so into the three way battle, I forgot to brake at turn one

AkuLambat eventually caught me and we had a little contact coming out the last corner. the FXR has far superior traction out there. He backed out and then easily passed me being a much a quicker driver

Contact with Ducktape again sends me sideways

My recovery is hampered by this being the worst spot to have 4 or 5 cars blue flagging in short succession and contact with Black sends me sideways again.

I think i gonna try in this one.

The start of the lap.

Some guys was spinning out! Gonna make decision: slam on the brake or dodge trough the spinning car.

Carnage!!!

Decision made. Just dodge him, but had to slowed down and moved a bit to avoid nose contact.

Suddenly a bash came from the right, made me spinning crazily into the wall.

Ehm, maybe that was my bad moving to far to the right. I'm really sorry about that...

Somehow my car crawled over the wall. Maybe it has a jumpjack (what is it called in Speed Racer?) underneath.

I ended up a stair in front of me. While the incident was over, everyone just drove, leaving me out side of the track, literally.

At this moment I had sort of mixed feeling, felt bad, frustrated, and at the same time LOL-ed at me found out on other side of the wall.
No wonder no marshall responded to me because no one were on scene. So I headed to the pit and got into the backup car.

While I just drove out from pit lane to the infield, everyone already drove to the outfield.

The gap was over 50 seconds so I had to absolute flying.

Some try to shave some seconds (which didn't work). I hope the guys in the tower didn't see this one

After 11 laps of driving as fast as hell, finally found some one!

Overtaking Hilux after 2nd split

Lap 19 found Bingo. I had some metal-to-metal and a blue flag interruption.
At lap 20 finally overtook Bingo, with some cool drifting action.

My car understeered, taking me into the gravel trap. Thanks to the four-wheel-drive system I was able to recover quickly.

Tmack in the middle of the road! But I managed to avoid him, as well as Bingo behind me.

Two laps later, I overtook Gutholz. I was wondering why he just gave his place to me

Hehe, yeah I see, Gutholz. But why I didn't see any smoke coming out from your car.

The next driver was over 30 seconds in front it was impossible to catch up in 4 laps.
